Lots of Time want to see a lot of shows. Some option to lower the expense
Free shows
There are more than 400 free shows across the fringe, they cost nothing to enter, though you can donate money at the end of the performance .
2for1 tickets
On Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 August, lots of shows take part in the Fringe 2for1 days. This is a great way to reduce your cost
Please note: these 2for1 days are separate from the Friends 2for1 offer, which is available every day throughout August. Find these tickets at the Half Price Hut
Starting from Wednesday 12 August, Fringe shows can choose to be part of the Half Price Hut – offering half price tickets for performances taking place the same day (and in some cases the morning after). You need to remember to say the words ‘Half Price Hut’ to get access to the offer!
Venue offers
Fringe venues are operated independently of the Fringe Society, and often set up ticketing offers at their own box offices and websites. Keep an eye on their social media accounts for more information!
All Edinburgh Art Galleries and Museums are also free so a great way to fill your days in between shows.
Also many pubs do live music with no entrance fee. You can try the Hanover Tap, Bostons ,and The Auld Hundred to name but a Few.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is an unparalleled experience; the energy and creativity are simply unmatched!
